Baila Peru’s vision is for Peruvian culture to have strong impact in the UK and for Londoners to have more awareness of Peruvian culture.

Mission:

Baila Peru’s mission is to cultivate our Peruvian heritage and to represent the diversity of Peruvian folklore in London and the UK.

Aims:

• To promote awareness of Peruvian culture, through traditional and innovative dances from all regions of Peru.

• To raise the profile and maintain a strong presence of Peruvian folklore in the UK.

We will meet these aims through the following objectives:

• participate at cultural and educational events throughout the UK

• develop the interest of Peruvian dance amongst young people

• develop resources for learning about the dances

• stimulate creativity and awareness of well-being

• work closely with other organisations sharing the same vision
