Interview with Edgar Caceres Molero, Peruvian folk dance teacher PDF Print E-mail

Edgar graduated in Mathematics & Physics, Faculty of Education, San Antonio Abad University, Cusco. He lives in Cusco and is also a dedicated dance teacher, specialised in dances from Cusco and Andean folklore. Recently, he delivered a dance capacity building workshop aimed at school teachers, organised by San Marcos University, Lima. His work is based on representing Andean culture as it is. Edgar calls for support to help preserve, rescue and revalue Andean culture and identity, through dances that express the Andean way of living, feelings and history.
