A grand and magnificent festival celebrated every year, early February in Puno (city also known as the Folklore Capital of Peru). There are over 100 artistic groups, including live bands, fireworks, colourful costumes, parade and competition.
The city vibrates for several days with the distinctive passion,
character and endurance of the people of Puno, women, men, young people,
some children and the elderly, all participating with devotion, joy and
embracing traditional and creative styles.
